Literature vs Math

Literature ,for thousand of year's, have been used as a medium to engrave traditions and to ensure that knowledge would be kept from generation to generation. Ancient mathematician even used literature in order to make sure that their thesis and idea's would be kept and remembered in the future even if their ideas where not well taken for the time. An example of such a author would be Copernicus this mathematician , astronomer and philosopher used literature to express his idea that the Earth was not the center of the universe by writing his theory and keeping it away from church which condemned such a theory. Literature has proven over many centuries that its presence is a effective tool that is used to remember the basics of all of the other sciences. Its importance is significantly higher than math which would not be as advanced as it is today without literature.

Types of irony:

Verbal irony: Verbal irony is used when there's a contrast between the comment that was made and wath was ment to be said.

example : This activity is as fun as cancer.

In this example irony is used to express the fact that the activity being done is infact very dull.

Situational: Events turning out quite differently than expected.

exemple: He died in an car accident while going to his wedding.

In this example the couples most cheerful day of thier life is ruined affter the groom died while going to the wedding, which is quite ironical.

Dramatic: Dramatic irony is the contrast between what the main character believes to be true and what the viewer or the reader knows is true.

An example of this is present in almost every horror film. We know that the killer is behind the girl but we cant help her before its to late.

This situation is ironic because we know that the closet that she used to hide is not safe and that the killer is infact behinde her but we cant do anything which is quite ironical because we know more information than the hero her self.
