1.a: I have read a couple of stories by Poe before i even read a book made up of many poems made by Poe. I enjoy Poe's work but the morbidity or black humor present in many of his creations somewhat makes my interest for his stories vanish after a couple of stories.

2.a Poe died at the young age of 40. Poe' father abandoned his family in 1810, Poe was barley 1 year old.Poe at the age of 18 enlisted in the United States Army Using the name Edgar A. Perry he claimed to be 22 years old even though he was 19. He then first served in Boston in independence harbor.
#3: What are some stories, novels or films you have read or seen that use Gothic elements?
3.a In fact I have watched very few movies or read few book's with Gothic element's however I have played many games with gothic themes such as the diablo series and Dantes Inferno.
#4: What makes scary stories or movies so popular?
4.a Scary movies are popular because, now days, alot of people ,having no action in their lives,seek their suspense and action daily dose in scary movies.
